Guelph's Best Family recreation bargain
Located on a private site on beautiful Guelph Lake
Latest News Commodore's Cup this Saturday at Noon.
What we offerOur members enjoy Dinghy Sailing, Windsurfing, Canoeing, Kayaking and
Rowing. Sometimes we just come to have a BBQ, go for a swim and enjoy the peace and quiet of the park
setting or end the day watching a glorious sunset.
Each member is allowed to store their own craft. If you don't own a boat and wish to sail or canoe, you can join our Co-op program and use ours!
Non BOATING activitiesEven if you are not interested in sailing, GCBC offers plenty of options for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful site. Have a nice family meal using one of our club BBQ's or go for a refreshing swim during a heat wave. Have a game of Bocci on our spacious grounds or enjoy an evening fire at "The Point". Our club is like having the benefits of a cottage ten minutes outside of Guelph.
Racing at Guelph Lake
GCBC has a very active racing program that encourages people of all skill levels to get involved. It's also the home of Snipe Fleet 877.
Racing is the fastest way to hone your sailing skills and get to know the other members. All members are welcome regardless of skill or experience.
Crewing for someone is a great way to get into racing or just work on your skills. If you wish to crew for someone please contact the Race Director or just show up on race days and we will get you in a boat.
Our Club Races run Tuesday nights from mid April until Labour Day and then Saturdays until close up in late fall. On Tuesday Nights we generally have our first gun at 6:30 and Saturdays at 1:00 PM. As many races as possible follow.
There are also many regattas open to the general membership held at various points of the season. Check the events page for dates.
