CLUB RACING 

 GCBC has a very active racing program and welcomes beginners and experts alike. Emphasis is on enjoying the sport of sailing and honing your skills. Races will be held on the water in front of the club every Tuesday evening. Races start at 6:00 p.m., so show up appropriately early. We will race for approximately two hours, or 30-45 minutes before sunset, whichever is soonest.

Pre-season racing will begin on Tuesday April 17, 2019. The summer club racing will be divided into Series 1 and Series 2. Results from Tuesday night racing will be scored to declare a winner of the series. Series 1 will take place from May 29 to July 10 and Series 2 will take place between July 17 and August 28. 

Late-season racing will move from Tuesday nights to Saturday afternoons with a 1:00 p.m. start time and run until the end of October, weather and water level permitting. Guest sailors from other clubs are welcome, however will not be scored for GCBC series results.
